El emotivo y premonitorio ‘adiós’ de Jaime Chincha en su último programa

El periodismo peruano está de luto tras el fallecimiento de Jaime Chincha esta mañana en su residencia de Miraflores. Muchos de sus seguidores recuerdan con emotividad su última aparición, un programa que hoy, a la luz de su deceso, adquiere un tono premonitorio y conmovedor.
En su último programa, Chincha se despidió de su audiencia con palabras que hoy resuenan con tristeza. Aunque en el video se le veía visiblemente cansado, fue su anuncio el que más llamó la atención de sus seguidores.
«No, mañana voy a tener que ausentarme. Tengo un tema muy personal que tengo que ocuparme. Por mi parte hasta el viernes regreso», afirmó en LR, sin saber que esa sería su última aparición.
Las imágenes de su despedida han circulado rápidamente en redes sociales, con usuarios y colegas expresando su dolor y sorpresa ante la noticia.
La noticia conmocionó al mundo de las noticias, de las comunicaciones y a todo el Perú en general, debido al alto impacto del mencionado hombre de prensa en la actualidad.
Él fue columnista en nuestro medio, Perú21, entre los años 2018 y 2020, cuando escribió sobre el acontecer político de la época, sentando posición ante los casos más sonados.
¿Quién fue Jaime Chincha?
En 2010, fue uno de los fundadores de Willax Televisión, donde desempeñó roles clave como director y productor. Posteriormente, continuó su carrera Panamericana Televisión como conductor de ‘Buenos días, Perú’, programa que fue nominado en tres ocasiones al Premio Luces.
Su experiencia también se extiende a la radio. En RPP, asumió la conducción en los programas como ‘Nada está dicho’, ‘La rotativa del aire’ y ‘Ampliación de noticia.
En 2022, retornó a Canal N para dirigir ‘Octavo mandamiento’, un programa de entrevistas sobre política y actualidad, el cual dejó en 2024 para dedicarse a su propio podcast, ‘La tuerca’, un proyecto independiente que buscaba ser un espacio de información crítica. Paralelamente dirigía un programa en la República “Del hecho al dicho” y tenía una columna semanal.
A lo largo de su carrera, ha abordado temas de actualidad y política, participando también en talleres y conferencias. En su faceta como profesional, compartió su experiencia en el periodismo, destacando la importancia del rigor y la seriedad en el manejo de la información, especialmente en tiempos de crisis.
También fue columnista en Perú21 entre los años 2018 y 2020, cuando escribió sobre el acontecer político de esa época, sentando posición ante los casos más sonados, realizando análisis muy agudos sobre, por ejemplo, la detención de Keiko Fujimori, el asilo de Alan García y el cierre del Congreso, entre otros.
¿Cuándo y dónde será enterrado Jaime Chincha?
El velatorio del periodista Jaime Chincha se inició este domingo a las 5 p.m. en la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Fátima, en el distrito de Miraflores, con acceso restringido exclusivamente a familiares y amigos cercanos.
Fuentes allegadas informaron que los restos del hombre de prensa serán enterrados el día lunes 8 de setiembre. No obstante, aún no se ha definido si el cuerpo será incinerado o trasladado a un camposanto para su sepultura.
